This quilt is a traditional patchwork pattern called Churn Dash. During the Civil War, this popular pattern was named Sherman's March or Lincoln's Platform, depending on which side of the war the quiltmaker supported. You can find variations of this block in many American quilts. In the quilt pictured, the squares are 5 1/2" and the borders between squares are 1 1/2". The quilt binding has mitered corners. Of course, this quilt can be made to fit any doll bed! - Just provide the measurements and color choice!
